STORY ABOUT SHIRT BELOW
It's a T-shirt.  But WAIT... it's not JUST a T-shirt.  It's a "Refugees Matter" T-shirt.  I do not know you are aware of the campaign we have in the U.S. against racism.  The slogan is "Black Lives Matter", so this is borrowed from the idea.  I've been watching the new reports about so many refugees leaving their homes to make the dangerous trek across half the world to find a new life.  So many of them are running into trouble and getting sick or dying along the way.  In some places, people are attacking them and killing them out of hatred and fear.  Some people are turning them away and letting them starve and be exposed to the elements because they are afraid of their religious beliefs.  It is truly heartbreaking to read about.  I want to help somehow.  So...

I've created these shirts to remind people to be kind to these people, and to try to understand what they have given up, what they have lost, what they have endured and what they have yet to face.  They may be different from us, but they are still fellow humans.

I do not know where you stand on the issue, but if you feel the same way I do, please pass the sentiment along.

The shirts are free.  (The vendors might ask for 1L, but I think it gives it back to you after purchase).  The quote on the back of them is by a Greek woman that saved a refugee that was drowning in the ocean.  There is a notecard in the box with a link to a video of her telling the story.
